Written the night of February 7, 2014.
I don't usually write things much. You know I'm not lying because only a fool who really doesn't write would write that before posting an article for other people to read. I don't mind looking foolish every once in a while, especially if it is for a good reason.
To put things simply, it felt good to hear honest opinions with valuable meaning, each opinion being well spoken. It was a refreshing breath of fresh air right after a rain.
My night started off with a hot cup of rocket fuel courtesy of Red Bay Coffee ( http://redbaycoffee.com ). So as I write this at 12:55 AM Thursday... Still wired. I didn't realize... Bro... Seriously...
Wine and Bowties organized the event with Owl and Wood ( http://owlnwood.com ). Cookies, wine and the previously mentioned coffee were complementary.
The panel Included 5 panelists: photographer Lauren Crew ( http://laurencrew.com ), entrepreneur Max Klineman ( http://oaklandsurfclub.com ), renaissance man Daghe ( http://daghe.tumblr.com - http://cre8tiveclass.com ), musician and artist Queens D. Light ( http://queensdlight.com - http://themhellas.com ), and last but not least our very own resident farfignoogie Japheth Gonzalez ( http://japhethgonzalez.com ). I wasn't surprised that each speaker blew me away.
The conversation covered a lot of ground and gave an amazing amount of perspective on a really deep level, beyond the conventional answer to the question.
I really can't say much more because then I would be speaking for other people and that would be the opposite of the purpose of a round table discussion... Ya feel me?
Keep your eye out for the next Wine and Bowties event. That being said, last Thursday night was bonafide and cosigned.
